The aim of this research is to examine how the changes in Facebook algorithms impact authors who use the cite to promote their books and connect with readers. Through examination of author page data and reader data we will attempt to uncover any traffic or connection changes experienced by the authors.
The official Facebook group of the Danish public service broadcaster is used as a test bed.
This corresponds to the dataset I want to provide our workshop attendees. The dataset includes my Facebook information from January 2013 until Januray 2015. I want us to dwelve on questions of privacy, consent, and capitalism. What can a company/State know about me from accessing my FB personal information? What about information about people in my contact list?
We are trying out to capture some social media pages to be archived.
